Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Teatro dell 'Opera di Roma with a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece La Traviata. One of the most famous operas in the world, this timeless story of love, sacrifice, and society unfolds through some of the most beautiful and moving music ever written.
SYNOPSIS
La Traviata tells the poignant story of Violetta Valéry, a celebrated courtesan in Paris who falls in love with the young nobleman Alfredo Germont. Their passionate romance challenges the rigid conventions of society, leading Violetta to face difficult choices between love, reputation, and sacrifice.
Set in the glittering world of Parisian high society, Verdi’s opera combines emotional drama with unforgettable music, including the famous aria “Sempre libera” and the celebrated drinking song “Libiamo ne’ lieti calici.”
