BEACH DAY TRIP: SANTA SEVERA CASTLE & SEASIDE

Looking for the perfect summer escape just outside of Rome? Join us for a relaxing day by the sea in Santa Severa, a charming coastal town famous for its beautiful beach and its unique medieval castle overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. 

Our day begins with a short train ride from Rome to the coast, where we will visit the spectacular Castello di Santa Severa, one of the few castles in Italy built directly on the beach. During a guided tour, you will discover the fascinating history of this seaside fortress, which has watched over sailors for centuries. 

After the visit, we will head to a beach club where you can relax, enjoy lunch, and spend the afternoon swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. 

A perfect mix of history, sea, and relaxation – just like a true Roman summer day.
