BRACCIANO OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

  • Odescalchi Castle Visit: Step back in time as you explore one of Italy's most majestic and historically significant castles, perched above Lake Bracciano. 

  • Watersports Adventure: Learn the art of sailing/windsurfing/paddle-boarding in an expert-led, hands-on class, followed by 3 hours of activities on the tranquil waters of the lake. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, this session is perfect for everyone. 

  • Water Sports Fun: Try your hand at a variety of thrilling water sports, including stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), windsurfing, and kayaking. Perfect for all skill levels, these activities let you explore the lake in the most fun way possible. 

  • Lunch & Gelato: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the sailing club restaurant, offering views over the lake and a menu full of fresh, seasonal ingredients and treat yourself to local gelato after a day of activities. 

  • Stress-Free Transfers: Travel comfortably with organized transport from Rome to Bracciano, ensuring a smooth journey to and from the experience. 

What’s Included: 

  • Round-trip train tickets to Bracciano 

  • Shuttle service from the castle to the sailing club and back

Important information 

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old by the start of the trip 

  • You must know how to swim to participate 

  • Athletic physical by an Italian sports doctor required within 12 months 

  • Registration Deadline: September 10 

  • Withdrawal Deadline: September 10 

  • Trip switch deadline: September 10 

  • No-show or late cancellation fee: € 115 

  • Open to all athletic levels 

  • Minimum participants: 15 

  • Max participants: 22 

 

What to Bring: 

  • JCU ID 

  • Passport/ Copy of passport 

  • Personal water bottle 

  • Backpack 

  • Sunscreen 

  • Swimsuit 

  • Flipflops 

  • Deck shoes (not mandatory) 

  • Hat 

  • Sunglasses 

  • Beach towel 

  • Wind jacket (not mandatory) 

  • Comfortable and casual changes of clothes
