OSTIA DAY TRIP

 Experience the thrill of the sea just outside Rome with this exciting surfing day trip to Ostia Beach! Begin your adventure with a professional surfing lesson led by experienced instructors who will teach you all the basics - from paddling and balance to catching your first wave. After a relaxing beach break, you’ll have the chance to hit the waves on your own in the afternoon, putting your new skills to the test. Perfect for beginners and sea lovers alike, this is your chance to enjoy the surfing culture of Rome’s favorite seaside spot.

Trip Info & Deadlines: 

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old by the start of the trip  

  • Registration deadline: Friday, 23 October 2026 

  • Withdrawal deadline: Saturday, 23 October 2026 

  • Trip switch deadline: Saturday, 23 October 2026 

  • No-show or late cancellation fee: € 70 

  • Minimum participants: 15 

  • Max participants: 20 

  • Additional meals and snacks are not included  

  • Level of difficulty: open to all athletic levels 

  • An athletic physical conducted by an Italian sports doctor within 12 months of the trip start date is required. For more information, please email athletics@johncabot.edu.
