Three days of hiking, local traditions and coastal exploration on one of Italy’s most iconic coastlines. Walk mountain trails high above the Mediterranean, from the summit of Monte Tre Calli to the legendary Path of the Gods, then on to Positano, the Fiordo di Furore and Amalfi.

The route: 

• Day 1: Hike from Agerola to the summit of Monte Tre Calli, with panoramic views over the mountains and the sea 
• Day 2: The Path of the Gods from Agerola to Positano, with a shepherd-hosted food tasting along the way and free time in Positano 
• Day 3: Scenic paths from Agerola to the Fiordo di Furore, then historic trails and stone stairways down to Amalfi 
• Return: Ferry from Amalfi to Salerno for a last view of the coast from the sea

• Round-trip train from Rome and planned transfers during the trip 
• 2 nights of accommodation

Fitness & preparation: This is an active hiking trip, not a sightseeing weekend. Expect uphill and downhill sections, uneven terrain, stone stairways and big elevation changes every day, so a good level of fitness is essential. Not an experienced hiker? We can help you with a simple two-month training plan to build your endurance. Start preparing early. 

What to bring: Sturdy hiking shoes, comfortable hiking clothes, swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle and a small daypack. Beach time depends on weather and sea conditions.
