FRASCATI FLAVORS: WINE TASTING, VIEWS & ROMAN COUNTRYSIDE

Just 20 km southeast of Rome, the Castelli Romani is the perfect escape from the city’s hustle. This group of hilltop towns is known for its volcanic landscape, wine production, and relaxed lifestyle. Our destination is Frascati, the most popular town in the area—famous for its 16th-century villas, welcoming wine culture, and scenic views over the Roman countryside. We’ll be welcomed by local hosts who will introduce us to the charm of this enchanting village. The day includes a guided walk, local food tasting, and a typical lunch that captures the region’s rich culinary tradition. In the afternoon, we’ll head to one of the most beautiful historical farmhouses, surrounded by vineyards where the local wine is still produced. There, you’ll experience the soul of Frascati winemaking, right where it happens. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED? 

  • Roundtrip private transportation (by bus)

Participating in a JCU-sponsored trip or activity is not an excused absence. Students are responsible for checking their class schedule before committing to a trip or activity. 
Per JCU policy, all university-sponsored trips are alcohol free (unless specified). 
Before signing up, please make sure that the dates do not overlap in case of multiple trip/activity sign-ups. The University cannot be held responsible for notifying students of any overlapping registrations that the payment system might register under their name.
