FROM ROME TO THE SHORE: A DAY IN SANTA SEVERA

Spend a day along the stunning Lazio coast at a charming seaside beach club! Santa Severa boasts the iconic 14th-century Castle perched right on the shoreline, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and a deep blue seabed. Nestled on the route to the Tuscan coastline, this destination offers a wild, unspoiled landscape, fresh sea air, and traces of ancient Etruscan ruins scattered throughout the area. Escape the city and immerse yourself in a perfect blend of nature, history, and relaxation. Whether you’re eager for a cultural visit or simply want to unwind and soak in the rejuvenating sea breeze, Santa Severa promises the ideal setting to recharge and refresh.

  • Participating in a JCU-sponsored trip or activity is not an excused absence. Students are responsible for checking their class schedule before committing to a trip or activity. 
  • Per JCU policy, all university-sponsored trips are alcohol free (unless specified). 
  • Before signing up, please make sure that the dates do not overlap in case of multiple trip/activity sign-ups. The University cannot be held responsible for notifying students of any overlapping registrations that the payment system might register under their name.
