We’ll begin with a guided visit to the extraordinary Domus of Palazzo Valentini, where the ruins of real Roman homes are preserved beneath the very floors of a 16th-century palace. Thanks to cutting-edge light projections and 3D reconstructions, the ancient mosaics, baths, and everyday objects come alive before your eyes—as if you were stepping back 2,000 years in time. Then, continue your journey through the ages at the Museum of the Imperial Forums, housed in the monumental Markets of Trajan, the world’s oldest known shopping mall. Explore galleries, corridors, and panoramic terraces that once buzzed with Roman life. We’ll wrap up the day with a relaxed brunch aperitivo in the heart of Rione Monti, a historic district known for its bohemian soul and local charm.
