Spend a day discovering monastic life in Italy, where spirituality and history are not distant memories but part of daily life. Our destination is impossible to reach without private transportation, and it is nestled deep into the rocky slopes of the Simbruini Mountains. Beyond religion, the Monasteries of Santa Scolastica and Sacro Speco welcome every belief and safeguard extraordinary masterpieces — from medieval narrative cycles to scenes celebrating the life and teachings of Saint Benedict. 

We will be welcomed by the coordinating friar, a wonderful guide who meets thousands of pilgrims every week. He will lead us through the most iconic spaces of the monasteries, and we will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch in the foresteria, the historic guesthouse that has hosted travelers for centuries, offering simple, authentic local food.
