Weekend Trip: Hiking at Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre, five historic fishing villages on the Italian Riviera—were once connected only by mule trails and accessible by rail or sea. Today, hiking remains the best way to explore Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, offering stunning views of terraced vineyards, colorful houses, and the Mediterranean below.

This hiking weekend is designed to showcase the natural beauty and cultural charm of this UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll trek along scenic coastal paths, visit Portovenere and Palmaria Island, wander through quaint village alleys, and enjoy time relaxing on picturesque beaches.

Why you can’t miss this trip:

Swap the chaos of the city for dramatic coastlines, vibrant villages, and unforgettable trails on a full weekend hike through one of Italy’s most iconic natural wonders: the Cinque Terre. This isn’t just a walk in the park; it is a deep dive into rugged cliffs, ancient paths, and panoramic views that will literally take your breath away.

Whether you’re an experienced hiker or ready to challenge yourself, this trip promises scenic climbs, rewarding vistas, and a close-up look at the true beauty of the Italian Riviera.
